Tento obraz vznikl pro jednu krajanskou fundraisingovou gala akci v Rockefeller Center v New Yorku, kde byl vydražen „for a good cause“. Neboť to byla příležitost pro newyorské krajany - Čechy a Slováky, rozhodl jsem se vytvořit obraz s česko-slovenskou tématikou. Je založen na existující stokorunové bankovce z roku 1961. - This painting was created for an expatriot fundraising gala event at the Rockefeller Center in New York, where it was auctioned for a good cause. Because it was an opportunity for New York émigrés - Czechs and Slovaks, I decided to create a painting with a Czecho-Slovak theme. It is based on an existing design of the Czechoslovak one-hundred-crown banknote from 1961.
